dB Control Hires Industry Veteran Steven Olson as Marketing Manager

[BUSINESS WIRE] — Fremont, Calif. —dB Control, an established designer and manufacturer known in for its reliable high-power microwave amplifiers, power supplies and radar transmitters, today announced that it has hired Steven Olson as marketing manager. An industry veteran, Olson will direct day-to-day business and marketing activities designed to put dB Control in closer partnership with its current customers, as well as assist the company through a period of rapid international growth and expansion into new markets.

Olson joins dB Control after a decade at CPI International, Inc., Palo Alto, Calif. where, as a product manager, he was involved with microwave, radio frequency and power product solutions for a range of industries, including defense, communications, medical, scientific, and others. Olson holds a BS in Marketing from San Jose State University, San Jose, Calif. and an MBA from Notre Dame de Namur University, Belmont, Calif.
