Quality Assurance Inspector/Auditor
Responsibilities:
- Working with Manufacturing and Engineering Departments to create Inspection Procedures and S.O.P.s and work instructions.
- Performing material and calibration audits.
- MRB segregation and disposition.
- Coordinating and validating internal and supplier corrective actions.
- Assisting with internal ISO9001 audits.
- Various quality assurance related duties as required.
Note: This is not a Quality Manager or Quality Engineer position.
Requirements:
- Experience reading detailed blueprints and assembly drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments incl. calipers, pin gages, dial indicators, multimeters, etc.
- Basic knowledge of tool/equipment calibration systems.
- Basic knowledge of DMR/NCR processes, MRB process.
- Basic knowledge of Corrective/Preventive Action processes.
- Able to develop, maintain and redline inspection procedures.
- Able to develop detailed manufacturing work instructions and processes.
- Experience working in an ISO-9001 or AS-9100 environment is a plus.
- Experience performing ISO/process audits is a plus.
- IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 certification is a plus.
- Experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment prefered.
- Strong mechanical / electronics background is prefered.
- Strong problem solving skills are a must.
