With innovations like 5G and Satcom backhaul on the rise, connectivity, bandwidth and speed are hugely important.
Q. What are the advantages of mmW technology?
A. Millimeter-wave technology provides much higher bandwidth, increased connectivity with more channels and faster exchange of data during tactical communication.
Q. What kind of environments must mmW power products need to endure?
A. mmW TWTAs and MPMs must be equipped to withstand extremely complex conditions. That complexity should be outlined from the very beginning. As these HPAs will also need to endure harsh environments (extreme temperatures, excessive vibration, and altitudes about 70 thousand feet above sea level), they must be tested to extreme levels to ensure reliability.
