The push is on to turn South Fremont into an extension of Silicon Valley. Defense manufacturer dB Control is already in South Fremont, where a BART station will eventually be operating, making the area ripe for expansion. Congressman Swalwell toured the dB Control facility, saying Fremont will be seeing a boost in jobs in the manufacturing sector.
