dB Control Promotes 24-Year Company Veteran Gary Spaulding to COO, Welcomes Back Former CEO Joe Hajduk as Chairman and Advisor

Silicon Valley Defense Manufacturer Streamlines Executive Management of Design, Production of High-Power TWTAs, MPMs

Gary Spaulding_026Fremont, Calif. – April 16, 2014 – dB Control, a defense electronics manufacturer, announced that Gary Spaulding has been promoted from Director of Operations to Chief Operating Officer. As COO, he will maintain dB Control’s reputation for designing and manufacturing high-power TWTAs, MPMs and power supplies that meet rigid specifications for military and commercial applications. Spaulding was dB Control’s first employee hired in 1990 by then-CEO Joe Hajduk, who has returned to the company as Chairman.  Former President Fred Ortiz has left the company and will pursue other opportunities.

Over the years, Spaulding has held a number of positions within dB Control – including production supervisor, quality assurance manager, director of manufacturing and director of operations.
