Model dB-4409 is a pod-mounted, dual-band traveling-wave-tube amplifier (TWTA) with 300 W CW output power. It features fast switching between its two standard frequency bands of 2 to 8 GHz and 7.5 to 18 GHz for full-band frequency coverage of 2 to 18 GHz, and is suitable for electronic-warfare (EW) and electronic-countermeasures (ECM) applications.
