Riding mmWaves at AOC (Booth 500)

Are you traveling to Washington, D.C. this month for the AOC International Symposium and Convention? We’ll be there in Booth 500 to showcase our suite of millimeter wave high-power amplifiers (HPAs) and discuss the industry’s transition to this segment of the electromagnetic spectrum. After all, at 70,000 ft. above sea level, tactical communication requires increased connectivity and the fastest data exchange possible. This is achieved by wideband mmWave HPAs specifically designed and tested for harsh environments and high altitudes (like the ones we design and manufacture right here at dB Control).

In Booth 500 we’ll also have Ka-band TWT Amplifiers (TWTAs) and high-power microwave power modules (MPMs) on display. Here’s the full list of dB Control products you can expect to see at the show:

Ka Band TWTAs

  • dB-3709i millimeter wave TWTA: 34.5-35.5 GHz, 700 Watts peak, 10% duty cycle, hubmount configuration. Applications: Radars, test/measurement, antenna pattern and radar cross-section measurements, EW simulation
  • dB-3840 TWTA: 34.5-35.5 GHz, 700 Watts pulsed, 10% duty cycle, hubmount configuration. Applications: Radars, test/measurement, antenna pattern and radar cross-section measurements, EW simulation
  • dB-3860 millimeter wave TWTA: 34.5-35.5 GHz, 750 Watts peak, 10% duty cycle, rackmount configuration. Applications: Radars, test/measurement, antenna pattern and radar cross-section measurements, EW simulation
  • dB-3861 millimeter wave TWTA: 32-36 GHz, 400 Watts peak, 25% duty cycle, rackmount configuration. Applications: Radars, test/measurement, antenna pattern and radar cross-section measurements, EW simulation

Microwave Power Modules (MPMs)

  • dB-3201 millimeter wave MPM: 26.5 – 40 GHz, 125 Watts pulsed to CW. Applications: ECM, EW simulation
  • dB-3202 millimeter wave MPM: 27.5 – 31 GHz, 200 Watts CW. Applications: satellite communications, datalink communications
  • dB-3758 MPM: 9-10 GHz, 1 kW pulsed. Applications: Multi-mode radars, SAR, manned and unmanned platforms
  • dB-3774B MPM: 6-18 GHz, 1 kW pulsed, 5% duty cycle. Applications: high-performance EW
  • dB-4127 MPM: 6-18 GHz, 200 Watts pulsed to CW. Applications: ECM, EW simulation, multi-band communication systems
