No Outside Controllers or Cabling Needed for New dB-4345 S/C Band (2-6 GHz, 325W) and dB-4311M I/J Band (6-18 GHz, 300W) Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers

Fremont, Calif. – August 21, 2019 – dB Control, an international defense electronics manufacturer, has introduced two rack-mount, continuous wave (CW) traveling wave tube amplifiers (TWTAs) for applications such as electronic warfare (EW) simulation, RFI susceptibility testing, RF components testing and more. Each amplifier features an embedded microcontroller that provides Ethernet interface and control/protection functions. Fault diagnostics and status indication functions are also embedded within the TWTAs, and no outside controllers or interconnect cabling are necessary. Specifications include:

Both TWTAs feature standard 19-inch rack-mount configuration with integral forced-air cooling. The power supply topology uses low-noise, high-efficiency design to operate the RF signal path. Custom interface protocols are available.
