dB Control Introduces Ready-to-Ship Q-Band MPM to Enable Jam-Resistant Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) Communication

Defense Manufacturer Designs 43.5-45.5 GHz MPM for Secure Tactical Communication

Fremont, Calif. – June 30, 2020 – dB Control introduced a ready-to-ship Q-Band microwave power module (MPM) in the 43.5 to 45.5 GHz frequency range. The dB-3205 MPM is designed for advanced extremely high frequency (AEHF) communication. AEHF is resistant to military jamming and is a critical element of secure communication among military personnel.

This lightweight 8.5 lb. MPM offers 80 Watts of continuous wave power and meets airborne SWaP (size, weight, and power) requirements. Dimensions of the MPM are: 11 in. (length) by 9.38 in. (width) by 2.38 in. (height). Both ethernet and serial interface options are available. MIL-STD qualification by SIM is also available. Original equipment manufacturers and government datalink providers can download the datasheet here.
